Once upon a time there was a mother named Mimi, who had two sons, Dylan & Devon. Mimi was a talented cook and wanted to try her hand at smoothies for her boys, since they are always on the run. She blended up banana, peanut butter, and cocoa. It was good, but not the greatness she was seeking. She added in a dash of cayenne, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and a pinch of raw sugar. Mimi’s shamanism worked: her two boys loved it! This special creation is now known as the Spicy Monkey, and it is still Devon’s & Dylan’s favorite.
The Spicy Monkey is unique because it is good anywhere, at any time. It blends well with added protein powder and is heavy enough to be a meal on its own. It is also refreshing, with a nice spicy punch at the end of each swallow. It works as a good breakfast or afternoon pick-me-up by just adding coffee ice cube to make the monkey Hyper! It pairs well with sandwiches and salads, and is just sweet enough to be a replacement for desert. This smoothie leaves you satisfied, yet you still want more. Which is why, I suppose, our regulars just keep on coming back.
